Basil Orangeade

Veggiecation was present at the BoroGreen Discover Food Conference on March 9, 2014. Program Creator Lisa Suriano shared their recipe for their basil orangeade with us!

Tools and Equipment

Cutting board
Measuring cup and spoons
Knife
Blender
Ice

Yield: 15 sample servings

 

Ingredients

Basil orangeade
Basil orangeade

½ cup fresh basil, chopped
12 oz. vanilla or plain yogurt (or non-dairy alternative)
12 oz. orange juice
½ lemon, juiced
1 Tbsp. honey


Directions

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend well.
Pour over ice. Enjoy a very refreshing drink!
